Sustainability in Swiss companies
According to a recently published study[1] 79% of the Swiss companies surveyed agree with the statement that the company must “switch” to sustainability. But what does a changeover mean now? How should this be mastered? What does this mean at the decision, process, system or employee level? What impact does the transition to sustainability have on the existing business model? Many questions that probably occupy some, but to anticipate, there is no patent remedy for this “conversion”.
In addition to larger tasks such as the consideration of sustainability in the corporate strategy, however, simple, intelligent solutions that are integrated into existing processes can also support the step-by-step approach to a sustainable and responsible SME.
This is exactly the simplicity we wanted to create by using new technological possibilities. To this end, we combinedsustainability with the spheres of the SAP Business Technology Platform to create an innovative solution in this year’s SAP Hackathon “Hack2Build“. With success. With the developed prototype, we use the anyway necessary process of expense tracking to collect sustainability data. Expense information is automatically enriched withCO2 emissions data and can thus be included as a data source in the reporting process.
Would you like to further develop your sustainability process together with us?
We look forward to hearing from you.
