Recently, SAP confirmed that the Business ByDesign ERP software solution will leverage the new market-leading SAP Business Technology Platform innovation platform for development through its certified SAP implementation partners. This exciting roadmap enables limitless extensibility. In addition, remediation, legal and compliance updates continue to be provided for the cloud ERP for mid-market companies.
Contrary to recent rumors, SAP Business ByDesign has an exciting future and remains at the core of SAP’s strategy to offer midmarket companies the best ERP solutions in the industry.
There are no plans to discontinue SAP Business ByDesign.
Innovation
SAP is expanding its development approach to serve market and customer requirements in a more agile way. Starting in Q2 2023, new business extensions from SAP and its partner ecosystem will be developed on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). SAP BTP is a central component of SAP’s innovation strategy (also for us as an SAP partner).
