Whether CSRD-compliant reporting, decarbonization strategies or sustainable supply chains &#8211; well-founded information and practical tools are the key to taking effective action.<\/p><p>In this article, I present a selection of resources, platforms and guidelines that are of particular interest to SMEs &#8211; compact, up-to-date and directly applicable.<\/p><p><strong>Climate and CO2 calculator<\/strong><\/p><p>Let&#8217;s start with a range of climate calculators to help you draw up a climate balance sheet. It is up to you to decide which calculator best suits your needs. <a href=\"https:\/\/plant-values.de\/co2-rechner-fur-unternehmen-im-vergleich\/9330\/?amp=1\">Here is<\/a> an overview in which some calculators have been (subjectively) evaluated according to certain criteria. Below is a (non-exhaustive) list followed by databases on emission factors:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwf.de\/themen-projekte\/klimaschutz\/wwf-klimarechner\">WWF climate calculator<\/a> to determine the individual footprint. This increases credibility with stakeholders and creates trust in the quality of the data collected. It also helps to uncover methodological weaknesses and provides valuable information for improving your own climate strategy.<\/p><p>Continue with<strong> toolboxes, guidelines and checklists<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/administration.toolbox-agenda2030.ch\/de\/\">2030 Agenda toolbox for cantons and municipalities offers<\/a>a collection of practical measures and examples<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/business.toolbox-agenda2030.ch\/de\/\">Agenda 2030 toolbox for companies<\/a> shows industry-specific sustainability goals and suitable measures. Focus on companies.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekas-box.ch\/de\/#!\/home\">EKAS box<\/a> provides lots of information on occupational safety, health protection and ergonomics in the office<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/woeb.swiss\/de\/toolbox\">Toolbox Sustainable Procurement<\/a> Switzerland is a combination of the procurement tools from the &#8220;Guide des achats professionnels responsables&#8221; and the &#8220;Sustainability Compass&#8221;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.s-ge.com\/en\/sustainability-toolbox\">Sustainability Tool Box<\/a> from Switzerland Global Enterprise, again provides various tools for companies.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deutscher-nachhaltigkeitskodex.de\/de\/unterstuetzung\/leitfaden-checkliste-co\/\">Guidelines and checklists<\/a> from the German Sustainability Code and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deutscher-nachhaltigkeitskodex.de\/de\/unterstuetzung\/leitfaden-checkliste-co\/\">free support for companies on sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD<\/a> provide support on the topic of reporting.<\/li><li>EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihk.de\/bergische\/innovation-und-umwelt\/nachhaltigkeit\/eu-entwaldungs-verordnung-eudr-tools-fuer-unternehmen-6188044\">Tools for companies<\/a> compiled by the IHK<\/li><li>Polartstern&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/polarstern.ch\/blog\/leitfaden-nachhaltigkeitskommunikation-ohne-greenwashing\/\">guide to sustainability communication without greenwashing<\/a> helps you avoid falling into the greenwashing trap.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Exciting data, maps and statistics<\/strong><\/p><p>Sometimes you need maps, dashboards and statistics to make complex relationships tangible.
